Principal's Message

Dear Walnut Families,

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! We are extremely excited to welcome back our students and the Walnut community for another tremendous year here at Walnut Elementary Education Center. Here at Walnut our mission is to develop socially responsible learners who create, collaborate, communicate, and critically think through the rigorous academic integration of STEAM lessons within the Math/Science and Visual/Performing Art Magnets.

We are committed to working with parents and the community to provide the highest quality education possible. Here at Walnut, we provide safe, positive, and stimulating environments where students are our first priority, and we foster a school community that inspires students to enjoy learning. We encourage all parents and guardians to stay active and involved through several different ways including basic communication with teachers and staff, joining our Parent Teacher Organization (PTO), School Site Council, and volunteering on campus for various events.
